Took long enough! Amanda Seyfried and boyfriend Justin Long finally hit the red carpet together for the first time on Tuesday, April 22. The couple of eight months stepped out arm-in-arm as they attended the opening night of Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch (starring Neil Patrick Harris) at the Belasco Theatre in New York City.
Seyfried, 28, wore a chic black knee-length dress for the night out, and topped the look with a bold red lip. The Comet actor, meanwhile, went casual in jeans, a black t-shirt and navy suit jacket. (Long supported Seyfried at her Lovelace premiere back in July, but opted out of walking the red carpet. Regardless, the two were "inseparable" the whole night, an insider told Us.)
Us exclusively broke news in August 2013 that the couple were an item. They have a "similar sense of humor," a source told Us at the time. "Justin is super private about his relationships, [so] I'm not positive how they exactly met, but they've known each other for awhile, when they were seeing other people."
Indeed, Seyfried and Long, 35, have kept mum about their relationship, but haven't shied away from documenting their hangouts via social media. (Plus, the twosome are often photographed with Seyfried's dog Finn in NYC!)
On April 16, the Les Miserables actress posted a sweet snapshot of the couple on Instagram. "#Bluecanbethewarmestcolor," she captioned, along with a photo of herself looking lovingly at her beau. Last month, she also posted a photograph of the pair's silhouettes as they held hands.
