It’s all good … or is it? Amber Rose denied that she’s feuding with the Kardashian-Jenner ladies again after the New York Daily News published an interview in which she seems to credit their careers to Kim Kardashian’s 2007 sex tape with Ray J.
“Let’s face it. The only reason these girls have a career is because their older sister had a little fun on tape,” she reportedly told the New York Daily News on Saturday, June 11.
After the sex tape comments, many reports claimed that Rose was reigniting her famous feud with the reality stars. “Wtf?! Y’all really want me and Kim to feud huh? Well It’s not gonna happen #FakeStory #GirlPower,” she wrote on Twitter on Monday, June 13. “S–ts weak stop with the fake stories #GirlPower,” she captioned a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram.
The How To Be a Bad Bitch author, 32, only recently made peace with Kim in February after their years-long feud. The most recent iteration began when Rose slammed a teenage Kylie Jenner for hooking up with her best friend Blac Chyna’s ex-fiancé (and much older man) Tyga. Then Khloé Kardashian jumped into the fray to defend her younger sister on Twitter and the two stars exchanged a series of insults.
Rose also dated Kim’s husband, Kanye West, from 2008 to 2010. The exes publicly feuded on Twitter after West called her a “stripper” and bizarrely claimed he “owns” Rose’s son. “Are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a–hole anymore?” Rose fired back at the “All Day” rapper, 39.
“I don’t hate [Khloé],” Rose continued to the New York Daily News. Of Kylie’s relationship with Tyga, she said, “Being a dancer and dealing with older men gave me the humility and knowledge to speak on such a subject.”
Rose also discussed how being called derogatory names inspired her to create her annual “SlutWalk” in Los Angeles, and said that she wants her new VH1 talk show, The Amber Rose Show, to be “sex-positive.” “I deal with talk like that every day,” she said of the stigma around being a former stripper. “I recently dealt with that when my ex [Kanye] said he had to take 30 showers after he’d been with me. We were happy when we were together and now I’m getting slut-shamed because we’re not anymore … and it’s unfair.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Rose and Kim’s February meeting was a long time coming. “Making amends is something that Kim has wanted to do for a long time,” an insider previously told Us. “Amber and Kim are both mothers, and it was the right thing to do.”
Kardashian shares 2-year-old North and 6-month-old Saint with West, and Rose shares her 3-year-old son, Sebastian, with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. Another reason for the truce: Her BFF Blac Chyna is now engaged to Rob Kardashian, and the couple announced in May they’re expecting their first child together.
