That hatchet has sure been buried deep! Amber Rose offered more than an olive branch to Kim Kardashian via Instagram on Wednesday, March 9 — she offered the reality star an opportunity to speak her truth.
Rose, 32, took to social media earlier in the day to defend Kardashian, 35, against singer Pink, who threw shade at the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star for posting a nude selfie on Monday, March 7.
“Damn Pink,” Rose captioned a screenshot of Pink’s critical Twitter message. “We were all born naked society sexualizes our breasts and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that’s none of ur business or anyone else’s. Now, if u wanna talk to kids and be a mentor to young teens, tell them to go to school and to not use their bodies to get ahead?! I’m all for it!”
In a follow-up post, the model reposted an image of Kardashian and suggested that the two women unite to get the message across.
“And @kimkardashian I don’t know u well but I saw u speak about slut shaming and as u know I’m an activist feminist so it spoke to me,” she captioned the sepia-toned photo, in which the reality star is completely nude, strategically covering up her breasts and nether regions with her hands. “Being Slut shamed and ridiculed is not fun it’s hurtful and mean.”
Rose went on to invite Kardashian to take part in her annual SlutWalk and give voice to her side of the story.
“Make a difference and speak on it!” the model continued. “Not only when it’s convenient for u but when u can help others. Last year at my Slutwalk I told my Slut shaming story. This year I would love for u to come and tell urs. This is an open invite from me to u and ur sisters are welcomed too. Let’s let the naysayers know u are so much more then a sex tape (13 years ago) f—k it own it. Ur a mom and a business woman, a wife, sister and daughter. Hope we can make this happen #AmberRoseSlutWalk2016.”
This past October, Rose broke down during her first annual event, publicly forgiving her exes Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West (now Kardashian’s husband).
“I want to forgive Kanye about what he said about me,” she said at the time, referring to West’s infamous dis about having to “take 30 showers” after being with Rose. “I want to let all of that negativity go.”
Rose bonded with Kardashian last month after she and West, 38, got into a heated, X-rated Twitter feud about what happened in the bedroom behind closed doors.
“Swingers,” she captioned a selfie of herself and Kardashian. Moments later, the Selfish author shared the same photo.
“Tea anyone?” she captioned it.
