Start freaking out! The extended trailer for American Horror Story: Freak Show was released on Sunday night, Sept. 7, giving fans a first glimpse at the twisted characters in the fourth season of FX's award-winning series.

Set in Florida in the 1950s, AHS: Freak Show will chronicle one of the world's last remaining freak shows, with Jessica Lange returning once again, this time as the German owner. In the noir-themed teaser, Lange looks sinister yet glamorous in a striped, carnival-tent inspired dress. The world's smallest woman, Jyoti Amge, who's also joining the show, carries Lange's train.

The clip also reveals Sarah Paulson in her dual role, sporting two heads as conjoined twins Bette and Dot. Also, AHS: Coven's Angela Bassett is back as a three-breasted woman caressing her supersized decolletage.

Among other oddities working at the freak show: Emmy winner Kathy Bates grooming her facial hair as the bearded lady, and new cast member Michael Chiklis as the strongman. Evan Peters is also featured loving up a mysterious blonde.

American Horror Story: Freak Show kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
