Celebrities, they’re really just like Us! Amy Schumer shared a short video on Instagram of herself filling up her car’s empty tank on Friday, Sept. 4, and joked about the mundane errand.
“Thanks ma,” she captioned the funny clip, in which she wears a red-and-white shift dress, sunglasses, and a black Starbucks baseball cap as she maneuvers around a gas pump. “#theyrejustlikeus.”
In the snippet, the 34-year-old comedian tells the woman behind the camera that there is “no gas whatsoever in the car.”
She further proved this point by sharing another Instagram photo, this time of her gas gauge pointing at E for empty, shortly afterward.
Soon, though, Schumer might not have time to be filling up her own gas tank. Late last month, the New York Times revealed that she and pal Jennifer Lawrence will be co-writing a screenplay for a movie.
“We play sisters. We’re almost done writing,” the American Hustle actress told the paper. “It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”
The pair’s fun friendship began when Lawrence, 25, emailed Schumer after watching Trainwreck, and it soon went from emails to texting, from texting to jet skiing.
“Amy and I were creatively made for each there. We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life,” Lawrence told the Times. “We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up.”
