She can buy her own chocolate and flowers! Newly single Andi Dorfman isn’t letting her recent split from fiance Josh Murray get her down this Valentine’s Day weekend. The Bachelorette alum is celebrating the holiday by throwing back some beers and spending time with a female friend.
“GALentines weekend with this blondie! First hockey game ever brrrrr @christyyhansen #blackhawks,” Dorfman, 27, captioned a pic from the stands on Friday, Feb. 13.
Dorfman and her pal kept kept warm in Chicago Blackhawks hats while watching the game. “Galentines Day” is a term that was created by Amy Poehler’s NBC comedy Parks and Recreation back in 2010. As her spunky character Leslie Knope puts it, it’s a party women have together the day before Valentine’s Day.
Despite having fun, Dorfman later tweeted on Saturday: “If you want to feel depressed today just go on Instagram #Vdayblues.”
Dorfman and fellow Atlanta, Ga., native Murray, 30, called off their five-month engagement last month.
“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways,” the pair said in a statement to Us Weekly. “We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”
Up next, Dorfman will be sitting down for a post-split interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison on Sunday, Feb. 15.
