Aca-intoxicated! Anna Kendrick not only admitted to being drunk during her interview with Marie Claire, but that people don't think she's pretty.
Kendrick, who stuns on the magazine's December 2014 cover, confessed that she's aware her looks are often scrutinized. "The most common thing that I get is, 'Am I the only one who doesn't think that Anna Kendrick is pretty?' And you're like, 'No, you're not the only one. Arguably, all of the boys in my high school agree with you,'" the 29-year-old honestly answered.
The Pitch Perfect star added that, despite being scrutinized, her rise to fame has been "really groovy and exciting" but there are still "a lot of 'Why me?'" moments.
"The whole going movie-to-movie-to-movie thing, I've been living that way for three years," Kendrick, who stars as Cinderella in upcoming Into the Woods explained as to why she took a short break. "Like I need to be a person and, you know, maintain relationships."
Kendrick, whom Marie Claire writer Jessica Pressler reveals did the interview after taking a bartending class in Los Angeles, also admitted she has a recurring dream where she's "kicking ass."
"Like, really physically kicking, and throwing punches and doing karate moves and breaking things," Kendrick said. "Which I could never actually pull off in real life because I'm so small [with my] Ol' McSpaghetti arms."
After the release of the interview, Kendrick tweeted on Monday, Nov. 10: "Marie Claire got me drunk for my interview #true #DidntFightIt."
