Are Ariana Grande and Big Sean more than just collaborators?
The music power duo, who worked on Grande's smash hit "Problems" together, just debuted a new song, "Best Mistake," which has already shot up to No. 1 on iTunes.
This time, the sexy R&B jam features the rapper on the track, which the 21-year-old songstress declared her "fav one yet."
And there very well may be a reason the tune is special to her. Grande and Big Sean, 26, are “quietly dating," a source confirms to Yahoo.
According to reports, they have been doing their best to hide their affection for one another. The couple recently snuck in about a quarter of the way into the film The Purge: Anarchy at The Grove in Los Angeles, where they were supposedly spotted kissing.
Earlier this month, the Nickelodeon alum broke up with on-again, off-again boyfriend Jai Brooks, 19. After the split news hit, Grande posted a cryptic message about relationships on Twitter.
"You learn a lot about love, life and the people around you during a time of crisis," she wrote, elaborating on how July was a painful month due to the passing of her grandfather. "I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart."
The singer concluded: "August is about to be a beautiful beautiful month. Looking forward to all the good coming up… it's the only thing we should focus on."
It looks like her new beau is part of all that good.
Big Sean recently went through a breakup of his own, calling off his engagement to Glee actress Naya Rivera in April. She went on to marry actor Ryan Dorsey three months later… on the day she was intending to tie the knot with the rapper.
Hopefully Ariana and Big Sean’s summer fling doesn’t become another “Problem” or “Best Mistake."
