Balancing work and motherhood isn't as tough as it seems, said the mother of 8-month-old son Bronx. "It's been good so far," she said. "For me, I wanted to do something that's a bit more stable, and it's been that, which has been perfect. And we get to travel. We've been to Paris, Japan, everywhere with my son. And he's so happy and healthy. I'm very fortunate he's on a good schedule."

Ashlee didn't watch the original Fox series regularly, but said she's "gone back and watched some of it [on DVD], and it's great." Added Ashlee, "The fun thing about [the new show] is that hopefully people that watched it, and even watched the DVDs, will be into it because it brings the 'oohs and aahs' and the drama."
