Condolences continue to roll in following the death Wednesday of popular "Bachelor" contestant Gia Allemand, and now some details are beginning to emerge as to why she may have been driven to commit suicide.
"I could tell there was some insecurity going. I was not 100 percent surprised. Nothing surprises me anymore," Season 6 contestant Reid Rosenthal, who was friends with the Season 14 contestant, told Fox 411. "I don't know what she needed out of life. It's sad. The last I heard we were supposed to be at an event this Thursday together."
Two other TV personalities also reiterated to Fox 411 that she was struggling in her life.
"She was looking for love. She was lost," TV host Bryan McFayden said. "You met her and you can tell she was looking for attention from guys." He added that she was plagued by insecurities.
"(She) got a full facial rebuild before she went on the show," Season 4 "Bachelorette" star Jesse Csincsak revealed to the site. "She had demons. I don't where that comes from."
Allemand chatted with "Extra" back in January, where she lamented the fact she couldn't seem to make things work in her life. "Me and winning?" she asked. "I just don't know how to win. I lose the guy, I lose the money."
The coroner in New Orleans finished Allemand's autopsy on Thursday and announced they wouldn't release the cause of death — that would have to come from the family. Several reports online have indicated that Allemand tried to hang herself. She was found by her boyfriend, New Orleans Pelicans star Ryan Anderson. Some reports say that the couple had recently hit a rough patch.
On Thursday, Allemand's rep issued the following statement regarding her funeral:
"Gia Allemand's funeral will take place in New York at the Papavero Funeral Home. A date is not confirmed at this time. The funeral will be open to the public, yet no cameras or cell phones will be permitted inside. In addition to family and close friends, many friends from the 'Bachelor Family' are expected to be in attendance."
