Bachelor's Ali: I Would Now Choose "Love Over Work"

Ali Fedotowsky -- the Bachelor contestant who chose her job over Jake Pavelka -- couldn't hold back her tears on Monday's Women Tell All special.
"If I could go back and do it differently, I would," said Fedotowsky, 25, a San Francisco-based advertising accounts manager for Facebook.

She said she decided to leave the show to save her job because she wasn't sure love with Pavelka, 32, would last (she said she's been burned so many times before).
In the end, she said she wished she would've taken a bigger risk.

"On my death bed, I don't want to look back and say I didn't love enough," she said.
"If I knew what I know now, would I chose love over work? Yes," she later remarked. "But I would have fought like hell to get that job back!"
Later in the show, when Pavelka appeared on camera, Fedotowsky's eyes filled with tears as he recalled the moment she left him.

He said that part of him was thinking that she was going to "jump" out of the limo as it sped away and risk her job for him.
"I am sorry," she told him. "There are some more tough moments that haven't aired yet," he said, "but that hit about a 10 because I think you are one of the most amazing women I have ever met, and you will always have a friend, no matter what."
As he said that, Fedotowsky wiped back tears.

Fedotowsky shouldn't shed too many tears: Sources tell UsMagazine.com that she will have another shot of love, as she has been tapped to be the next Bachelorette.

Ali made the right choice in leaving Jake for her job. It was very obvious that he only had eyes for Vienna. He was being cruel in telling her he didn't want her to leave. He couldn't promise her his heart because he had no plans to give it to her anyway. I wish Ali the best of luck this time around, but warn her.... A television reality show may not be the best environment to choosing a life mate. Be careful.

When Ali chose her job over a guy [a guy who was dating 4 women and expected her to drop everything just for a chance] I was so proud of her! And now I'm disappointed. Did you notice that typically the girl is expected to move [across the country] to be with the guy? Where is the guy is willing to give something up for her? And where is the girl who actually has a LIFE instead of just chasing hot guys, wanting to get married and have kids??
Love Ali-Believe her and Jake were perfect for each other. Reminded me of Trista and Ryan season. Really believed they were perfect for each other to bad. I had not seen a connection since Trista and Ryan. Which Ali and Jake the best apart but say to bad!
Stop your freaking whining, you little snot. You spent too much time worrying about Jake and Vienna, that most viewers lost all respect for you. Hot, you're not, anyway.

Like millions,I am a huge Ali fan, from the beginning I think she and Jake had the most genuine chemistry, it even showed in the show the other night. I bet he dumps Tensley and Vienna and goes and gets Ali!!! She is beautiful, naturally with little or no make up and I think her personality is sweet and genuine too.
Please make Gia the next bachelorette. Ali was so manipulative and it seems to me like The Bachelor producers told her that if she gave jake and ulitmatum and left that she could be the next Bachelorette. Something just didn't add up with her exiting and her fake sad puppy dog face and crocodile tears. She has no charisma and can't hold ratings for The Bachelorette. Take Gia or even Tenley... NOT ALI! We saw thru her act and she's not genuine at all. If you pick her, it'll be the last Bachelor/Bachelorette season -- it'll destroy the franchise. Do some opinion research to see how the Bacelor/Bachelorette fans perceive Ali before giving her the gig. Why not bring Reid back???

If you're with the right man, you shouldn't have to choose. She made the right decision. She would have felt like an idiot if she quit her job and then he dumped her.

I wonder if this whole 'I HAD TO choose my job over love' is true at all... I have the feeling Ali either made that whole thing up after getting the PERFECT idea from last season... or simply took advantage of it to check on Jake's feelings... No matter what - he doesn't deserve a girl like her... He seems to find it funny to dump one cute girl after another, so he should get what he deserves: Vienna :-))
I so agree with some of the other comments below. Ali is fake and is probably used to bullying others and always getting her way. I liked her at first, but then her true colors came out when she bashed Vienna. She only apologized and prepped some nice things to say about Vienna and "lover over work" because she wants viewers to like her again.
Yeah please Ali suck's and is the biggest game player of all. Good thing it back fired on her. I can only imagine the cage she would want to put Jake in if she was the final one. He's way to smart for her sad, sad games. Good for Jake!! PLEASE don't make her the next Bachelorette!!!
I can´t stand Ali either. And i really hope they don´t make her the next bachelorette. She´s really fake, and not a good person at all. She was the one that was the most rude to Vienna. Not that i´m rooting for Vienna, but it´s wrong to be that cruel to someone who has done absolutely nothing. It doens´t matter if u appolagize. Jake smiled so must when talking about Ali, she was his front runner until she left! My favorite part of the show was definitely the bloopers :)
