Bella Thorne Doesn't Work Out, Gets Her Exercise by "Running Around" with Her Busy Career
Bella Thorne is one busy girl! The 16-year-old multi-hyphenate graced the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 13, despite a truly jam-packed schedule. The Disney star is currently recording her debut self-titled studio album, collaborating with her Shake it Up costar Zendaya on songs, co-writing a young adult fiction series called Autumn Falls, and acts in multiple upcoming films including Big Sky with Kyra Sedgwick and an adaptation of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell.
The Shake It Up! star, who wore a bold light blue Versace dress and Jimmy Choo shoes to the MTV awards, told Us Weekly at the bash that she doesn't need to go to the gym to stay svelte.
"Between the film, the album and the book series, I'm not working out now," Thorne told Us. "I get my workout running around."
Rather than pumping up the cardio to get in shape for roles, the teen actress, who says she is "so lazy," keeps track of her diet. "I eat a lot, but I also watch what I eat and snack throughout the day," she told Us.
When does the redhead feel most confident in her body? "Probably when I'm dancing, because I have full control over my body when I'm dancing. I know by time I go on stage to perform what looks good and what doesn't," she told Us.
Thorne got her dance on this past weekend, attending the prom of her boyfriend, Tristan Klier. She posted pictures from the event to her Instagram and wrote on Twitter that she had "such a great night."
