A ring just wasn’t enough for Benji Madden. The newlywed went ahead and got his new wife Cameron Diaz’s name tattooed across his chest. In an Instagram posted on Monday, Feb. 23, the Good Charlotte rocker, 35, showed off his fresh new ink, which features “Cameron” written underneath his collarbone in elaborate cursive.
“Thinking bout you ?????? #LuckyMan,” Joel Madden’s twin brother captioned the shirtless selfie.
The permanent move comes just over a month since the couple said “I do” on Jan. 5 at Diaz’s Beverly Hills pad in front of family and friends including Nicole Richie, Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samantha Ronson, Lionel Richie, Toni Collette, Nancy Juvonen, Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann, and Robin Antin, among others.
“It was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony,” a source told Us at the time.
The unlikely couple made it official after dating just over a year and have Diaz’s new sister-in-law Richie to thank. As previously reported it was the fashion designer and Joel Madden’s wife who thought they’d “click.”
"I'm going to take responsibility for everything!" Richie later gushed to Andy Cohen about setting up the couple. “I am a devoted sister-in-law!”
