Three years and six months after they first announced their split, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have finalized their divorce. The Real Housewives of New York star's attorney confirmed the news to Us Weekly in a statement on Monday, July 18.

"Out of respect for her privacy and the well-being of her daughter, Bethenny is declining to comment. We can confirm that the divorce has been resolved," Allan Mayefsky told Us. "Our client is ecstatic that this long chapter is over, and she is looking forward to moving on with her life."

Hoppy's lawyer, Bernard Clair, also confirmed that the case had been closed, and said, "Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over" and "extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached." Clair further noted that the terms of the settlement are "private and confidential," and that "Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter."

Frankel and Hoppy's only child, 6-year-old Bryn, had been at the center of the exes' court battle for almost two years. They finally settled the custody case in June 2014, when Bryn was 4.

"My client is delighted that this custody dispute has been resolved; that his co-parenting status has been acknowledged; that the parties' child will have the benefit of being raised by both parents; and most importantly, that his daughter will no longer be at the mercy of a high-profile courtroom battle," Clair told Us at the time.

The custody agreement was hardly the end of their problems, though. One major point of contention: the ex-couple's marital home, an apartment in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood. Though the Skinnygirl mogul, 45, bought the pad herself under a trust, Hoppy continued to live there until June 2016, while Frankel moved between hotels and other temporary situations.

"I've cried so many times," the Bravolebrity said on her SiriusXM radio show, B Real With Bethenny, the week Hoppy moved out. "I just wanted so badly for that to be over and to be able to sell it and just close that part of the chapter."
