Beyonce and Jay Z Hold Hands on Date Night in NYC After His ‘Lemonade’ Rap Response

No more drama! Beyoncé and Jay Z stepped out for a romantic date night in downtown New York City on Tuesday, May 24 — and they looked happier than ever.

The “Sorry” singer, 34, held her husband’s hand as they exited Del Posto restaurant together, just moments before the 46-year-old rapper dropped a new track on Tidal.

Beyoncé looked stunning in a pink and white floral maxi dress, while Jay Z kept it casual in a black T-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.

Later in the evening, the MC finally responded to his wife’s shocking visual album Lemonade — which tells the story of a woman scorned by an adulterous lover — with a remix of Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s hit “All the Way Up.”

“You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions,” he raps on the braggadocious tune. “Lemonade is a popular drink, and it still is.”

Earlier this month, Us Weekly revealed that the entrepreneur is currently recording a lengthier response to Queen Bey’s cutthroat LP. “Jay is working on an album telling his side of things,” a source close to the couple told Us.

For now, it appears that the pair — who tied the knot in 2008 and are parents of daughter Blue Ivy, 4 — are putting their differences aside. Beyoncé is currently in the midst of her massive Formation World Tour, which is set to hit NYC’s Citi Field on June 7 and 8.
