Forget Sasha Fierce. Real-life Beyonce is the true superhero here. The 31-year-old singer's latest single, "Grown Woman," was leaked online on Monday, May 20, and its drum-heavy, beat-driven sound proves that motherhood definitely hasn't made Beyonce go soft.
The Timbaland-produced track was originally teased in a Pepsi commercial in April, but the single's actual release date and its potential inclusion in Beyonce's much-anticipated new album were never confirmed.
On the song, Beyonce asserts that she's "grown" and can "do whatever I want." So she has.
Earlier in the day, Jay-Z's wife took a break from her busy tour schedule to share an adorable photo of their daughter Blue Ivy, 16 months, on her Tumblr page. In the charming snapshot, the tiny tot sits with her back to the camera in a chair labeled "BIC," her hair in tiny braids and a tutu around her waist.
The singer has not commented on the pregnancy rumors swirling around her as she continues on her world tour, letting her body and actions speak for themselves instead.
At her concert in Milan, Italy on Saturday, May 18, the stage regular wowed the audience with her high-energy dance moves and skintight costumes. And her message seemed clear: No baby bumps here!
On Monday, New York radio station Hot 97 program director Ebro Darden told listeners that Jay-Z, 43, had emailed him earlier denying the rumors.
"I hit him up to say congratulations, send my love to the fam," Darden said, adding that the "Empire State of Mind" rapper told him flat-out that "it's not true."
