Billy Corgan Explains Relationship With Jessica Simpson
Billy Corgan has finally broken his silence about his relationship with Jessica Simpson.
"She asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show [VH1's The Price of Beauty],” the Smashing Pumpkins frontman, 42, tells the Chicago Tribune. "[The show] has an interesting concept. She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It's interesting."

He says that he ended up writing part of the theme song, which he describes as having "a little bit of an alternative rock edge, but it’s still very pop-y."
The odd couple had fans scratching their heads last December after they were first spotted together in New York City.

Sources tell UsMagazine.com the two got romantic, but Corgan is playing coy.
"The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I'm in," he tells the paper. "It's like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel."

In January, Simpson shared photos of a recording studio collaboration with the rocker - via Twitter.
"I am blessed," she wrote, adding that it was "fun to be lost in laughter."

Lighten up, wow. Jessica has to do something to stay famous to hang onto her endorsement deals. She understands that being berated on blogs is the only way she can do that. That's why she is always the source behind the gossip rags' stories.
