Ready or not, Billy Ray Cyrus will be making his Broadway debut Monday night.

The country singer is set to hit the stage in the hit musical, Chicago, in NYC from Monday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 23; He'll play the role of Billy Flynn in the long-running show.

"I've been preparing for quite some time, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous . . . OK, a lot nervous," the father of six (Brandi, Trace, Christopher, Miley, Braison and Noah) told The Boot.

But he's also excited to add the work to his resume. "As an actor and a singer-songwriter, this was a great opportunity to learn something new and evolve my career," Cyrus, 51, explained.
