Bobbi Kristina Brown was placed in hospice care in late June, and since then her family has been adjusting in order to make sure the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston is comfortable and surrounded by the people she loves.
Bobbi Kristina, 22, remains in the hospice facility, and her aunt Pat Houston has been by her side for days, a close source tells Us Weekly. Bobby Brown’s brother Tommy Brown also flew to be with Bobbi Kristina.
On Thursday, July 16, Pat spent the day with two friends at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside after spending most of the night at the facility as well.
The aspiring singer’s grandmother Cissy Houston is currently unable to travel from her home in New Jersey, and is resting for her health. But Pat has been calling Cissy and putting the phone up to Bobbi Kristina’s ear so her grandmother can talk to her, an insider tells Us.
To give the family their privacy and to protect the facilities other residents, a tent has been placed around Bobbi Kristina’s room and there are four policemen security guards who monitor the room day and night.
“Uncle Ray” Watson, Whitney’s former bodyguard, also visited Bobbi Kristina on July 15, looking very emotional.
A source added that family friend Tyler Perry is lending his private jet to fly Bobby, who recently welcomed daughter Bodhi with his wife, Alicia Etheredge, to Atlanta on July 16.
Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is currently staying at his mother’s home in Florida, and has been banned from visiting her.
“He has been telling friends that all he wants is to see Bobbi one last time to say his goodbyes,” the source continues. “He’s very depressed and has been crying everyday.”
Gordon was recently served papers in a lawsuit surrounding his alleged treatment of Bobbi Kristina prior to when she was found lying facedown in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Another source tells Us that Gordon and his legal team plan to contest the suit because the papers were illegally served on a Sunday.
