Deja vu date!

Us Weekly has exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's ultra-romantic date on Monday night at de Mondion restaurant at the Xara Palace hotel in Malta's walled, medieval city of Mdina.

PHOTOS: Brad and Jen, they way they were

After walking in hand-in-hand just past 7 p.m., Pitt, 47, and Jolie, 36, chose an outdoor table featuring stunning views  of Malta. (The actor is filming World War Z in the southern European country; Jolie and their six kids have been staying with Pitt at a rented $11 million estate.) They feasted on a seafood-based tasting menu put together by Executive Chef Kevin Bonello: crab salad, poached rockfish, risotto with seafood and fine cheese. An eyewitness at the posh eatery tells Us the happy couple "ate everything on their plate" -- and washed it down with five glasses of wine each!

"They were very, very romantic...Like a couple in love," the observer says, adding that they seemed "a little tipsy" as they exited around 10 p.m.

As it turns out, Pitt has supped at de Mondion before -- with Jennifer Aniston. Back in May 2003, he and his then-wife, now 42, sat in the same outdoor spot. At the time, Pitt was filming Troy in the area. Over dinner, he and Aniston held hands across the table as they dined on rabbit, fish, salad and steak with a raspberry-yogurt souffle for dessert.

When it was time to leave, the affectionate husband and wife even signed the guest book. "Thanks for the great escape. Much love, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston."

Married in July 2000, Pitt and Aniston announced their split in January 2005. He and Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Jolie stepped out as a couple later that year.

I am lucky enough to live here in Malta and there are hundreds of lovely restaurants on the Island, perhaps he took Angelina there because he likes it, the fact that he also took Jen there, has only been reported because the gutter press has nothing better to write about, why cant they leave them alone for a change.

Malta is a tiny island...so Brad will be doing 'same spots' for the next few weeks :)

  • June 23, 2011 - 11:35am Joanna Muscat

Malta is a very small island...so Brad can only choose the 'same spots' if he wants to take Angelina to the best. I come from Malta so I know what I'm talking about....give Brad some credit here

They were talking about this on a few entertainment News shows, and most all agreed..this was not cool. Going to a mall or movie is one thing, but taking a live in partner for something romantic, to the same place you took your wife for romance, just not cool. Too many restaurants in the world. 5 glasses of wine each in a short time..Brads a boozer, but innocent Angelina. Thank goodness for nannies.

    @ Joanne..that's funny.

To Lisa Evans-Huggins: Jennifer needs to get over WHAT??? SHE wasn't the one who ran this article; she probably doesn't even KNOW about it!! I get sick of the media and Brangelina's fans bashing Jennifer Aniston every single time Brangelina makes a public appearance. SHE has moved on, THEY have moved on, now the rest of the WORLD needs to move on! And people like YOU, Lisa, need to get over your crazy paranoia, because I can assure you that Jennifer Aniston doesn't WANT Angie's moldy leftovers!

THE GRASS GROWING IN MY YARD IS MORE INTERESTING THAN THESE 2 PEOPLE-WHY ARE THESE OVERRATED MORONS SO WHAT-WHAT IS NEXT WHERE THEY SH**

Everyone has their own idea on a ROMANTIC dinner. For me going to a place with my boy friend that he romanced an ex wife with, eating some fish for a short time, and both of us getting tipsy in a brief period of time is not romantic.

omg. this is so dumb, i mean, who cares? jen and brad have been apart for over half-a-decade! move on. but, i guess i wouldn't want to go to the same place where my boyfriend took his ex (it's one thing if you live in small town, and there are limited options, you'd never be able to go anywhere) but if you can take you're gilfriend to any resturant in the world and you chose the one where you took your ex-wife on a romantic dinner, i think that should tell you that you should be more open to different things, not doing the same old thing, on a different day, with a different woman. i've never taken my boyfriend to a place where i've been with my exs (if we're trying to have a romantic night), and he doesn't take me on romantic dinners at places where he's taken his exs, i think that would make it un-romantic.

Are effen kidding me?! This is news? Hello, I've gone to tons of places with my current love that he has been before with his ex. I've taken him to places that I've taken my ex. If the place is good, then I'm going to share that. Brad + Jen = OVER.

Oh my god, so what? Really it's just a restaurant, how is this even entertainment news? If you limit restaurants, vacation spot, etc based on whether or not the ex was there you could miss out on some awesome experiences. US Weekly once again proves it's just a tabloid rag that's no better than The Star. So Does that new guy of Jen's take her to any place that he took his partner of 14 years to?They look like they have had too much. Too bad they didn't pick a place more secluded. Usually a man doesn't take a present girl friend to a romantic dinner in a place he has done the same for someone else. Takes the romance out of it. No other places to eat in the country.

For the love of God let it go already. Jen and Brad are so past. Let's all move on.

  • June 21, 2011 - 3:36pm Kasey Lasse

I agree Fawn. I wouldn't want to go to a romantic dinner with my bf at a place he had a romantic time with his ex wife at. Tacky. These two are tacky anyway. I am not surprised they needed 5 glasses of wine a piece to get through dinner. He is a boozer anyway.

Jennifer Aniston and her fans don't care about this news. Brad and Angelina only went to this eatery, pretending like nobody knew they were there, because they knew it's more media attention. (It would attract the attention of Jennifer Aniston loathers. For the celebrity brand/business of the-Brangelina couple/tribe. Its all for the Brad and Angie fans and Jennifer Aniston Loathers. Just like Angie telling the media Shiloh wants to be a Dude/dressing Knox in a girls ladybug costume, is more media attention for Brad and Angie, and more news for Brad and Angie fans when nothing else about Brad and Angie's lives are news worthy.

  • June 21, 2011 - 2:33pm Fawn M. Candelmo

I agree, I am pretty tired of the comparisons of Brad & Jen v. Brad & Angie. BUT if I were Angie, I really wouldn't want to go to a place knowing my bf/partner were there romantically with his ex wife. That's just me, though.

looks like US magazine isn't over the divorce of brad and jen yet..tsk tsk.. come on! so what if it's the same restaurant?there's nothing wrong with that! silly article.
