Paying the price. Oil heir Brandon Davis is currently facing drunken driving charges for the October car wreck that totaled his Mercedes and left him severely injured in the hospital, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement sources tell the site that at the time of his arrest, the heir to the Marvin Davis oil and entertainment fortune had a blood alcohol level that was almost twice the legal limit.
Davis was leaving a sushi dinner in West Hollywood with Hilary Duff’s ex-husband, Mike Comrie, when the accident occurred. Entertainment Tonight reported that his car flipped several times.
Photos later surfaced of Davis drinking wine during his dinner with Comrie.
According to TMZ, the DUI case would ordinarily place Davis on probation, but because he pleaded guilty to a 2011 case of cocaine possession, he could face more serious charges.
Davis is perhaps best known for dubbing Lindsay Lohan a “firecrotch” in a 2006 video rant with BFF Paris Hilton.
He also previously dated Brittny Gastineau, Cheyenne Tozzi, Mischa Barton and Rachael Leigh Cook.
