Will Miley finally be a bridesmaid?! It’s been three years since their split, but it looks like Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus may be giving love a second chance. The New Girl guest star posted a sweet photo of the exes holding hands via Instagram on Monday, June 22.
Song, 27, and Miley Cyrus‘ older half-brother kept close for the romantic beach snapshot. The former Disney star wore a see-through black top while he showed off his tattoos, which covered most of his body. (Trace is Billy Ray Cyrus‘ stepson and Tish Cyrus‘ son from a previous marriage with Baxter Neal Helson.)
“She’s happy that’s all that matters. Yes he has a ton of tattoos but that doesn’t make him less of a person. He’s just the same as everyone else,” one commenter wrote. A second added: “Why the hell.”
Song and the Metro Station rocker, 26, called off their engagement in 2012 after over a year of dating. “We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers,” Cyrus told Us Weekly in a statement that June. “I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future.” Just last month, Song cleared up rumors that she was once pregnant with Cyrus’ child in an Instagram post that’s since been deleted.
“I usually never speak of my personal life, but I’d like to clear up some rumors,” she wrote at the time, via Just Jared. “I apologize for not clearing this up sooner and for the continual defame that these lies have caused @TraceCyrus. We may no longer be together but I hope he can forgive me and I wish him nothing but the best.” Cyrus allegedly replied back: “Yes they were lies THAT U MADE UP and told me, my entire family and all our friends.”
