Brittany Murphy Leaves Simon Monjack Out of Her Will

Brittany Murphy -- who died after a battle with pneumonia Dec. 20 at age 32 -- didn't leave a dime to husband Simon Monjack.
She left her entire estate to her mother, Sharon, according to TMZ.com.

The site reports that years before Murphy wed Monjack in 2007, she handwrote a will, leaving her mother everything. The will was stored in her manager's safe.

Monjack wasn't surprised he was left out. He tells TMZ that before they wed, the actress' formal will, along with a trust, was drafted. At his request, the will specifically stated, "I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will," he said.

Monjack recently told UsMagazine.com he wishes people would leave him alone and "stop coming out with these ridiculous stories" about their marriage.
"Our marriage was dogged by these ridiculous rumors. Brittany's life was dogged by ridiculous rumors, and the truth always wins out," Monjack told Us. "I hope people have the sense to really understand that everything was beautiful and wonderful in our relationship and so pure."

What is his immigration status now? If she married him to keep him from getting deported, is he allowed to stay now that she is dead?
Looks aren't everything. Maybe she was attracted to his PERSONALITY??? If she loved him, why didn't she leave him anything? I find that incredibly strange.

It is just a matter of time before it comes out about how Simon and Brittany's mother have fallen in love and have bonded over their shared grief, he is a creepy looking guy, but apparetently Brittany saw something in him and she loved him, don't know what she saw, but whatever it was it is blind to the rest of us and we should respect that part of Brittany and Simon's life.
I think he got the short end of the stick. When she married him she should have changed her will and gave him something and visa versa. He should fight to get a little somethin-somethin.

Watch how fast this creep tries to marry her mother now. The article in People magazine showed them holding hands. Creepy. I wonder why she allows him to stay with her in her house unless he's planning to remain with her for the long run. I hate to think this way, but I think there is more there than meets the eye right now. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

The pix that US Weekly posted tells it all~~~Brittany IS pulling as far as she can from this CREEP!! Hopefully, the mother WILL come out from the spell that he has over her, like he did over Brittany!! I hope this CREEP doesn't get one single penny from Brittany, in any shape or form!!!!!!

I thought each state had their own laws about surviving spouses and wills. And that the spouse gets a certain percentage, unless, of course, they signed a document stating they agreed not to get anything. Not sure how California is but if they are anything like their divorces than he would get it anyway, or at least half. Her mother is creepy living with her like that. You can be close to your kids, but seems like she was living vicariously through her daughter.
Anyone who has been following this story has probably seen that Simon Monjack is still shacked up with Brittany's mother in the house they all lived in together before Brittany's death. It's not lost on me that as long as he's on her mother's good side, she will pay his way (as Brittany did). He denies it, but it was HER money that financed their lifestyle and with her gone, he has no one but her mother to foot the bill for the fancy house, etc. that he has become used to. It's all very sad. I predict we haven't heard the last of Simon Monjack. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up MARRYING Brittany's mother!
