Brittany Murphy's Bro "Not Sad" Simon Monjack Died

Brittany Murphy's brother Tony Bertolotti isn't shedding any tears over Simon Monjack's sudden death.
"I didn’t have a reaction to the news. The guy was insane. He tried to keep my father’s name off [Murphy's] death certificate," Bertolotti tells RadarOnline.com. "When I told my dad, Angelo, about the news, he felt he same way. We are sad for my sister -- not for him."

Murphy died five months ago, and suspicions immediately surrounded Monjack, whom she wed in 2007. Her December death at 32 was later ruled to be caused by pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
Continues Bertolotti of Monjack, who was found by Murphy's mother Sunday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter: "I wasn’t shocked to be honest." The Los Angeles Police Department has said it appears the British screenwriter, 39, died from natural causes.

“That’s two out of three people that have died living in that house within six months. When are people going to open their eyes about what was going on there?" said Bertolotti. "Our family thinks that this thing will still blow-up, and that the truth will eventually come-out about our sister."

“At this time, we have no sympathy for her mother as she went along with what Simon Monjack wanted. Our thoughts and prayers are for Brittany Murphy," added Bertolotti.

Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told RadarOnline.com that Monjack was found in the master bedroom, and "there were no illicit drugs located -- just prescription medications." He declined to name specific medications.

Too much prescription medications..can be dangerous..like micheal jackson..easy to get and legal like hell..
Can't help but feel there is more to this, both deaths are suspicious to me. My First thought when I heard about his death, he either killed himself out of grief or guilt. Either way it's sad.

It's obvious that Brittany's family, namely her brother and her dad, didn't like Simon but to speak ill of the deceased is just wrong. What if it was someone in Simon's family saying something like that about Brittany? Hopefully Simon and Brittany are at peace now
Monjack has always been shady, and acted extremely strange re: his wife's death. I wouldn't be surprised to find out Monjack OD'd because investigators were closing in on clues that he helped cause Brittany's death, either directly (by helping/pursuading her) or indirectly (thru neglect).
'young' people don't just up and die. they were all on RX drugs and b/c they are 'legal' and they get them from a doctor then it's safe. It's not safe! and then by saying they died of natural causes is absurd. Like if a life long alcoholic dies of liver disease, it's b/c of the alcohol ruining the liver, not b/c of natural causes!

I bet he committed suicide over heartbreak and devastation...as well as financial trouble. I assume she was supporting him and her mother.
It's always sad when somebody passes away, especially when they're ostensibly in the prime of their life. In the photos I've seen of him, he doesn't look well. I'm sure he was grief-stricken, along with whatever else he may have been doing. He didn't look long for this world. I always cringe when people speak ill of the dead. The brother has a right to his opinion, but maybe he should keep something like that to himself next time. It's a tragic situation all the way around. Hopefully Simon has joined Brittany in the firmament.

please, don't try to tell the public that there wasn't something seriously wrong in that house...two young people who are supposedly 'healthy' don't just die within months of each other. this isn't some coincidence...sorry
What a Mafia turd. This man and the Bertolotti family have really shady stuff going on. To put this crap in an article is just irresponsible. Brit opted out of being close to this brother and her father for a reason. GET IT?
