A day after a judge in Los Angeles approved her application to legally change her name and gender, Caitlyn Jenner addressed the important ruling with a sweet Instagram pic.
"Happy Saturday!" the 65-year-old captioned the pic that showed her holding a Starbucks cup with the name "Caitlyn" written on it. "What are your plans on this beautiful day?"
As previously reported, Jenner filed documents for a gender and name change in L.A. on Sept. 15. At the time, the former Olympian – previously known as Bruce Jenner — asked that her medical history remain private because of threats she's received since revealing that she's transgender. She will now be known as Caitlyn Marie Jenner.
Jenner, who divorced wife of more than 20 years, Kris Jenner, in December 2014, revealed that she was transgender in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April and then debuted her new look and name on Vanity Fair's July cover, after undergoing facial feminization surgery and getting breast implants.
Her new life was also chronicled in the E! docuseries I Am Cait and she celebrated her new name in a ceremony at her Malibu home where Boy George performed.
Kris Jenner revealed earlier this month that she doesn't call her former husband by her new name, addressing her as "Jenner" instead.
