Congratulations are in order! Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd married her high school sweetheart, Brian Hollins, in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, on Friday, November 4, the athlete confirmed to The Knot.

The happy couple exchanged their I do's on the beach along the Mayan Riviera in front of 75 of their closest friends and family members. The soccer star, 34, looked gorgeous in a strapless gown from Matthew Christopher's fall 2016 collection.

Before the ceremony, Lloyd shared a sweet Instagram photo of herself kissing Hollins, who is a professional golf player. "#HeadOverHollins," she captioned the post on Thursday, November 3, alongside a series of bride, ring and beach emojis.

Hollins proposed to the 2015 FIFA Women's Player of the Year recipient in January 2013 after 15 years of dating. They decided to wed after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where she played with the United States Women's National Team. (The team was eliminated in the quarterfinals.)

Before heading to Rio, Lloyd told Us Weekly that she was planning her wedding during the downtime she had as a result of an MCL strain. "I'm getting things done!" she explained in June. "Things are coming together nicely and once I get back into playing, I'll have my maid of honor and bridesmaids probably take over a lot from there."

The FIFA Women's World Cup champion told The Knot last year that she wanted a small, intimate destination wedding, and revealed that she planned to be a "low-key bride."

"I'm not really that difficult," she told the site in November. "I just want to have a good time with everybody. I just want to have a good night. I want my hair and makeup to look great [and] my dress to be beautiful. But other than that, I'm not too particular."
