Carrie Prejean Threatens to Walk Out of Larry King Interview

In the middle of her interview on Larry King Live Tuesday night, Carrie Prejean threatened to walk off the show.

Larry King asked the dethroned beauty queen about the reasons behind her settlement with the Miss California USA pageant, which she found "completely inappropriate."
King asked why she agreed to strike a deal with the pageant and drop her claims of libel, slander and religious discrimination.
"Why settle when you had a fight to carry on?" he asked. "You can't even say why you settled?"
Prejean -- who, according to reports, had settled the lawsuit only after the pageant's attorney revealed the solo sex tape she made when she was 17 years old -- refused to answer.
"Larry, it's completely confidential and you're being inappropriate."
Their argument goes on for a full minute before King gives up and goes to a caller.

"Okay, inappropriate King Live continues," he said.
But before the caller finishes his question, Prejean talks to someone off camera, mouthing "I'm going to leave," and disconnects her mic.
"I think you are being extremely inappropriate right now, and I'm about to leave your show."

Miss Prejean may not be popular, but a deal is a deal. Larry King knew before the interview even started that the settlement was off limits. Why should Carrie jeopardize any of the clauses just to boost Mr. King's ratings? Although she could have handled him better, at least she's not going to court again. I would have reacted differently just so the public could see rational side of me (because they would not know the back story of prior agreement.) I may have just sat there and said I am not at liberty to discuss the settlement as my people informed you prior to the show. If this interview focuses too much on the lawsuit, I will be forced to leave. Then if Larry felt like continuing on the same questions, I would get up and leave. Telling Larry he's inappropriate for asking is like telling a child he's inappropriate for asking for candy. Of course he's going to ask no matter what the prior arrangement. For her image, it would have been better to say not at liberty.. Maybe she should have had her lawyer right beside her. P.S. I think it's hilarious/stupid that this new system thinks reput*tion is profane. Hence I changed it to image. Maybe censors should add the r word as okay.

Stacie - Do you condone her lying twice to the pageant, failing to fulfill her contractual commitments, making a sex tape and then pretending to be a role model for young Christian girls? Would you want your daughter to follow her example?
If Larry King broke his agreement with her by allowing callers to ask her questions,then she had every right to stand up to him. I like Carrie. She is a strong woman, who is human. Who can say that they never made mistakes, especially in their youth?

I could care less how preety Carrie Prejean is. She's a hypocrite and hates being called on the carpet about it. What Larry King asked her was not inappropriate. He had every right to ask her why she settled in her suit against the pagent. This woman has no credubility whatsoever.

First off, I think she handle herself poorly on Larry King. Basically acting like a 2 year old who can't sit still. On top of that I don't why she wrote the book in the first place. She hasn't done anything that helped change the way women society is viewed. All she done is wrote a book to complain how she was a victim blaming the media for holding her back. On top of the advising female readers of the danger liberal media. When in return she is the one who's made choices of posing nude, making sex video, saying I was a minor.
