Carrie Underwood: My Dog Will Be a Ring-Bearer at Wedding

When Carrie Underwood marries Mike Fisher this summer, one wedding party member is bound to stand out: Ace, her chihuahua.
"He'll be one of the ring-bearers," Underwood jokingly told UsMagazine.com during Tuesday's Pedigree Adoption Drive event at the Bideawee Manhattan Dog Shelter.

"I don't know if I'll give him the actual ring," the singer added of her pooch. "He would probably run away with it or eat it or something."
"He's like my kid," the singer says of Ace. "It would be like if I was getting married and I had a child -- of course my child would be in the wedding!"
Other wedding details? Underwood, 27, said that the dress is "in the works...it's very much in the beginning stages, but it's very me: it's girly and it's pretty and simple and glamorous." (She didn't name the designer.)

Underwood and Ottawa Senators player Fisher, 29, became engaged last December after dating for over a year.
The hockey star has helped with the wedding planning, Underwood said. "We’re still in the beginning but it’s a lot of fun," she said.
In January, the singer told UsMagazine.com that their plans for a small wedding probably wouldn't come through. "I don't see that happening...there are so many people. He has a huge family; they're all really close. My family is big, but we're not that tight-knit. His is about three times the size of mine."

21I love Carrie. She is the sweetest, giving and most down to earth person you will ever meet. I think it is sweet that her dog Ace is going to be in the wedding. Sounds like she is planning a fun wedding. I wish Carrie and Mike the best!! Hope they have a wonderful life together.
Just because someone doesn't like Carrie doesn't make them a bad person, someone who works for LeAnn Rimes or fat, ugly, etc. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Sorry but she has been mean spirited and even down right ugly in my opinion in a few of her interviews. She tries to be sly with her digs so some people miss them but if you pay attention you will see her true colors. If other people's comments bother you so much, maybe you should read them. BTW, I'm not a Carrie fan, LeAnn fan or someone who would prefer stories about cheating men. I am just someone who sees through the little act Carrie puts on. I would say I'm a Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland) fan just so you know and don't have to make dumb guesses about it. Now, that is one cool chick!
Every dog I've ever had that passed has been cremated in a little wood box for me to keep. I plan when I die to be buried with all my little doggies that love and protected me all my life and I loved them so much.

I'm sorry but who cares? This is the least interesting news that I've heard in a long time. I don't care what's going on with Carrie Underwood, her wedding or her dog. Please move on to something at least halfway interesting.
I think it is great that her dog will be ring bearer. But i don't like the fact that the story portrays it as they are the first couple do that. They are not the first and won't be the last. Our dog was 14 weeks old when he was our ring bearer back in 1997. And we were not the first to do that either. I do think it is great to include our fur kids. But celebrities act as though they are the only ones who have done that. Get over yourself folks.

CARRIE is super close wither her family, that is a well known fact. she takes her mom everywhere with her and goes home all the time. you can say something, but at least dont say something patently false. and yeah you are jealous because you are a fat, ugly, person who has nothing else to do but make up lies.
That's funny ashlee! That is the only story about her that I would actually enjoy. I can't stand her and no I'm not jealous. I would rather have my life because unlike her I am very close with my family and that is more important than anything she has. She is one of those fake beyotches who acts nice in front of everyone but is the complete opposite when she thinks no one is looking. She is a mean spirited beyotch.
