Casey Kasem's family feud rages on. One week after his kids Kerri, Julie, and Mike filed for conservatorship in an effort to gain power of attorney for their father, the legendary radio host's wife, Jean, has filed documents of her own.

According to TMZ, Jean's legal docs state that conservatorship — if needed — should be granted to her instead of to her husband's three eldest children. (Kerri, Julie, and Mike are Kasem's kids from his marriage to Linda Myers; he and Jean also have a daughter, Liberty.)

Jean claims that she and the 81-year-old Kasem (who is suffering from Parkinson's) have loaned his kids as much as $150,000 a year for several years to help pay for their schooling, housing, transportation, travel, and more. She also alleges that she gave Julie $50,000 back in July 2000 — money that was apparently never repaid.

Her stepkids, meanwhile, say they have power of attorney from 2007 that gives them control over their father's health care. But Jean's filing states that their power of attorney was nullified by a different directive in 2011, and that she's now in control of his medical care.

Kerri, 35, recently spoke with Us Weekly about the situation with her father and stepmother, saying she and her siblings didn't want to resort to legal action but felt they had no other choice. (They and other family members say they've been prevented from seeing Kasem since his health took a turn for the worse.)

"It's been really difficult, but I am hoping [Jean] comes out and says, you know, 'I'm sorry. Of course you can see your dad,'" Kerri told Us. "But we've heard nothing from her. Nothing…We don't understand. Why would you stop your husband from seeing his children, his brother, his friends and family? Why?"

"We love my father and my father loves us," she added. "We don't want his money, we don't want his estate, we don't want anything from her. All we want is to see our dad…We just want to see our dad and to love him and take care of him before he dies."
