Casey Wilson Says Ben Affleck Let the Gone Girl Cast Borrow His Porsche

What a guy! Ben Affleck endeared himself to the rest of the cast of Gone Girl by offering up the use of his expensive sports car to his fellow actors, including Marry Me‘s Casey Wilson, who plays Noelle Hawthorne in the No. 1 hit movie. Wilson, 33, dished on the Batman v Superman star’s kind gesture while chatting with HuffPost Live‘s Alyona Minkovski on Monday, Oct. 13.

“He was so nice,” the Happy Endings alum gushed when Minkovski pressed her for dirt on the A-lister, 42. “He let us borrow his car when he went out of town.” Asked what kind of car it was, Wilson said she thought it was a Porsche. “It was really nice,” she added.

“All the actors were sharing two cars,” she explained, “and so he very kindly left his keys at the front desk for a bunch of us to use on the off-week when he was out of town. So he’s a hero. He’s a real-life hero in my book.”

Gone Girl — based on Gillian Flynn’s best-seller of the same name — was filmed in a small town in Missouri, so the nightlife scene was limited. Nevertheless, Affleck’s car came in handy.

“We went to what we called the ‘Tarbucks,’ which is a Target slash Starbucks,” Wilson told HuffPost Live. “That was right across the street, and that was a big night. That was like, ‘Let’s blow the roof off this place and go crazy.'”
