During the first episode, Herron, 29, called out Johnson, 28, for his “abusive behavior.” He responded by saying, “F–k that one-armed bitch. I don’t give a s–t.” When she threatened to leave the show, he said, “Keep sucking that fame d–k.”

The next morning he continued his downward spiral by referring to Herron as “Army McArmenson” in a confessional until host Chris Harrison finally sent him packing and kicked him off the show.

It seems that Johnson finally feels guilty about his offensive comments. The former Bachelorette season 12 villain posted a short apology video to Twitter on Tuesday, August 2. “I apologize. I said something I shouldn’t have said, and I did make a mistake. It sucks. What are you going to do?” he says in the clip. He captioned it, “I should’ve never ever EVER said that abt @sarahherron tonight. I was a d–k I’m disappointed in myself.”

But for the advertising executive, it was an apology not accepted. “If @realchadjohnson is really sorry, which I believe he is… he knows how to correct it with me personally. Doesn’t need to be on a stage,” Herron replied on Twitter on Wednesday, August 3.

She lated added in another tweet: “@realchadjohnson I would love for you to say you’re sorry by making a charitable donation to my nonprofit SheLift.org #shelift.” Herron, along with a group of friends, founded the charity, which organizes events, day camps and weekend adventures for girls with physical disabilities.

Before the season premiere even aired, Herron was nervous about reliving Johnson’s comments and seeing what he said in the confessionals. “Haven’t even seen #BIP yet and I already feel like crying based off what I’m hearing Chad says. Sick to my stomach,” she wrote on Twitter hours before Tuesday’s episode.

Back in 2013, Herron vied for Sean Lowe’s heart on season 17 of The Bachelor, and told Lowe during the first episode that she was born with one arm. “I’m very open to talking about it and I don’t want to be perceived as disabled,” she told Lowe. “I might be a little bit different, unique, but at the end of the day I have the same heart and I just don’t want you to feel uncomfortable.”
