“People make mistakes, I’ve made mistakes, I’ve judged people who made mistakes, and they judge me back. The best part about it is me having to learn,” he revealed. “I thank God he had something bigger for me to do. The mindset I was in when I was younger, it was full of arrogance, like, ‘Yeah I’m an a–hole like, so what f–k it, I got money like,’ and you know, at the end of the day everybody knows right from wrong.”

By “something bigger,” Brown is referring to his daughter, Royalty.

“I love being a father,” he gushed, while explaining why he named his seventh studio album after his baby girl. “You can’t be stagnant and you cannot continue to do the same things and expect a different outcome. So for me, it’s a reflections album.”

As previously reported, Brown, who has had multiple run-ins with the law, learned he was a father months after Royalty’s birth. Mom is Nia Guzman, with whom he had a fling while he was still in a relationship with on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
