Chris Brown Begins Community Labor
Chris Brown has started his 180-day community labor sentence. Wearing a bright orange vest, the 20-year-old singer -- who was also sentenced to five years of probation and a year of domestic violence classes for assaulting Rihanna -- was spotted picking up garbage and cleaning police horse stables on Wednesday in his Richmond, Va., hometown. Look back at Chris and Rihanna's happier days. Brown wasn't embarrassed about it. Earlier in the day, he Twittered, "On my way to community service." The chief of police in Richmond – who will supervise Brown – has said Brown's other labor will include graffiti removal and washing cars. His labor hours will be flexible to accommodate his entertainment career. In an interview with CNN's Larry King in September, Brown said it is difficult for him to look at the photo showing Rihanna's bruised face. See photos of Brown -- and other stars -- at court. "When I look at it now, it's just like, wow, like, I can't believe that that actually happened," he said. Because of a judge's restraining order, he has to keep his distance from Rihanna for the next five years. Said Brown, "We have to be like 10 yards away from each other."

wow, that post below was a little racist.... I think you should change your name to "celebrities always get off sky free". That's just how it is whether you are a celebrity or an athlete, your reprimand is often far less severe than what would happen to a non-famous person. It just may happen that we see more "horrible" crimes committed by African Americans. Domestic abuse, dog fighting, these are things that make us very sad. But often when we hear about white celebrities committing crimes it's a bit of drunk driving, doing some coke in a bathroom, pyramid schemes, etc. These things don't make us as sad, and so we ignore them. Different crimes cause different reactions in the public!

I love when people say "it won't hurt him none". What the hell is he supposed to do to please you people. He took full responsibility for an incident that was obviously the fault of both and did not embarrass Rihanna with details that could have possibly tarnished her career as well. He overreacted that night but has really stepped up as a great young man after the fact. I am sincerely proud of him and pray that he can find happiness and turn his career around. you wish he didn't have an entertainment career anonymous but unfortunately for you he still has great loyal fans like myself who understand we ALL make mistakes no ones perfect! I will definitely be buying his new album when it comes out next year. For all his fans, we have to support his new album to shut these idiots up!

I just think it is really unfair that Rihanna who starts a fight with Chris while driving in jealousy is allowed to party and slut herself around to numerous men while the Chris has to do community labor- I can't wait for her to get in another serious relationshp and go ape s*** again so Chris can be vindicated that she is a crazy jealous little b****
