Cody Simpson Raffling a Private Dance Lesson, VIP Treatment at Dancing With The Stars for Charity
Love Dancing With The Stars? One lucky DWTS fan will have the chance to actually dance with one of the stars!
Cody Simpson has teamed up with Omaze to raise money for Teen Cancer America. Together, they are raffling off the opportunity for one lucky fan plus a friend to attend a private dance lesson with the pop star and receive VIP treatment at the DWTS Season 18 finale in Los Angeles in May.
"I've been a massive ambassador with Teen Cancer America for a year or two now with Roger Daltrey and The Who. I mentioned the charity to Dancing With The Stars and they said they wanted to help raise awareness and help raise money for charity," the Australian heartthrob, 17, tells Us Weekly of the organization, which is dedicated to improving the lives of teens and young adults fighting cancer. "It'll be beautiful!"
As for whether Simpson is ready to choreograph a dance lesson without the help of his professional partner, Witney Carson, the "Surfboard" singer is optimistic. "I hope by that point I will have learned enough from her that I can handle it on my own, but of course she's welcome to come," Simpson tells Us. "It's about the experience, but it's more about the good that it's doing, so I hope someone wants to do it!"
Raffle tickets range in price from 50 cents to $1 per entry, depending upon how many tickets are purchased. In addition to the grand prize, entrants can win prizes simply by entering the raffle.
