But where's Coach Taylor? Former Friday Night Lights costars Connie Britton and Taylor Kitsch brought back Dillon, Tex. memories when they reunited at the African Children's Choir Changemakers Gala in NYC on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The Nashville actress, 47, glowed in a long-sleeve black sweater dress and a gold "Y" necklace, perhaps a nod to her 2-year-old son Yoby. Kitsch, 33, briefly joined Britton on the red carpet for photos in a suit and skinny tie.

Once inside the event, the stars got silly in a selfie with Julia Barnett Tracy, the director of the African Children's Choir. "With Taylor Kitsch and our beautiful friend @actingandafrica celebrating @acchoir last night #ACCNY2014 #polaroid," Britton captioned the Twitter pic.

Britton and Kitsch played guidance counselor Tami Taylor and football player Tim Riggins, respectively, on Friday Night Lights from 2006 to 2011. Last month, Kitsch opened up about keeping in touch with friend Britton and his Panther teammates.

"Derek Phillips is still one of my close friends. He played my brother. Kyle [Chandler], of course. We're still really close. [Jesse] Plemons, [Scott] Porter. A lot of those guys," the Canada native told Us Weekly at the GQ x Lacoste Sport Pop Up event in NYC on Oct. 23. "I hang out with [executive producer] Peter Berg. He's one of my best friends and we have done three movies together since."
