Corey Haim's Behavior Worried Castmates on His Last Film

As Corey Haim's family begins making preparations for his funeral and burial in his native Toronto, Ontario, an actress who worked with the late actor on his very last film says that she and her castmates saw signs of trouble.
"I knew something was up," Liana Mendoza claims to E! of Haim's behavior on the set of the indie film Decisions.

"Other castmembers were talking about it...People would say, 'Whoa, he is cracked out right now."
Although she never saw Haim consume drugs or alcohol, Mendoza worried about Haim's hyperactive demeanor. "It was all love and hugs and kisses...he just talking all the time."

The actress added that Haim would show up on the film set on his days off. "I just thought he might not want to be alone or something. It seemed like he needed a lot of love."

Haim died at age 38 in an L.A. hospital early Wednesday morning; preliminary autopsy results confirm symptoms of pulmonary congestion, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs. Cause of death will be deferred pending toxicology and histopathology tests, which should take six to eight weeks.

I think it's funny that all these people are talking negatively about one person while you think she's talking negatively about Corey. Pay attention to what she said...it wasn't negative...media is the one that tries to take what she said out of context. She is a very loving person and this press called HER to ask questions and she said certain things that clearly have been taken out of context. It's amazing how quickly people can hate all because of what they read instead of actually getting to know a person...you all just show to be as horrible and ugly as you THOUGHT she was. I am here to tell you I have known this actress for over 6 years and she is the most kind and loving person you will know or never have the chance to.

Maybe this actress is the one who's cracked out. What's wrong with showing up on set during your days off? Perhaps that's where he felt most comfortable. Perhaps he did need love - lots of people do, especially those trying to put their lives back together, you moronic twit! When I was going through the worst break-up of my life, I found the most solace in doing something that I loved, which meant working on a show with some of the best actors I know. Apparently, you don't understand the love of acting and the excitement of creation, otherwise you wouldn't say such stupid things you no-brain actress! I've been a Corey fan since I was 9 and I was wishing for a comeback. Corey will always have a place in my heart and I will always love his movies. The twit actress, on the other hand, will have no place in my heart or likely in anyone else's, since she finds hugs and kisses so repulsive. What a wicked witch!

I HAD THE CHANCE TO WORK WITH COREY HAIM IN HIS LAST FILM "DECISIONS"..HES A GREAT ACTOR, I WOULD OF NEVER SPOKEN BAD OR DOWN ABOUT COREY HAIM...I PERSONALLY HAD THE CHANCE TO SPEAK TO HIM INBETWEEN SHOTS..HE WAS A GREAT PERSON, THAT SHOWED EVERY ONE ON SET LOVE.. I LOVED WHEN HE DID COME ON SET ON HIS DAYS OFF..LOTS OF A LIST ACTORS DONT DO THAT..SO FOR HIM TO DO THAT SHOWED THE TYPE OF MAN HE WAS..I GOT SO MUCH LOVE FOR COREY HAIM..IT WAS A HONOR TO WORK WITH YOU..YOU WOULD BE GLADLY MISSED..MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE HAIM FAMILY...
Corey Haim. What a waste of a good person whom I feel REALLY wanted to be healthy and be successful again, but just could not get out of drugs grasp on his life. I'm so sad, but not at all suprised.

Corey Haim was a great actor and a wonderful person. He should be remembered for all that he has done and accomplished not for his hardship with drugs!! Rest In Peace My Haimster!! God Bless his friends and Family!!
You were my first true crush and I always wanted to meet you. I loved your work and your smile and I wish sometimes I could go back to that innocent feeling of being a twelve year old girl in love. You really meant a lot to me in a way I cannot express. It meant something to be able to open up a magazine and read about you Friday afternoons after school or to have your poster to look up to in my bedroom. I can't explain it but I feel really sad and pained inside ever since I heard you were gone. But you still last forever in my heart. I know that Hollywood was not so nice to you and that you deserved much better. You deserved all of the happiness that Hollywood could not offer you. But I truly hope that wherever you are, I know you have the same big smile and the same big heart.

Any move he made, any gesture he made would be documented. So what if he wanted to hang out on set on his days off, if he wasn't disrupting the shot, why does it matter. Did you think maybe he was lonely? His mother has been ill, maybe this was his safe place, his respite. Maybe he needed that energy to not use. Did you ever think he used his work TO KEEP STRAIGHT. No, clearly, you want to paint his eagerness and his energy in a negative light. How dare you spit on him, you couldn't give him your hand when he was alive, so how dare you kick him down now that he is not here to defend himself. WE made him what he is. We build this children up, and when they fall short, we abandon them. Where were these famous friends when he was sick and in need ? So what if he showed up on the set during his days off? What's wrong with being energetic, full of life, and love? What's wrong with showing some excitement and eagerness to be at work? What's the matter with him wanting to be a part of something and wanting to be social? And spreading his love to the world? What's the matter is that you need fame this badly that you are willing to say such mean and hurtful things about somebody so beautiful and beloved.
I would NEVER put my children into show business. There's not a single thing that happens to them that is worth the money. Vain parents, "oh look how cute MY kids are!" or "Bet my kid can be my gravy train just like the Cyrus'!" Then when the accolades are gone? You have Lindsay, a Dana Plato, Todd Bridges, Gary Coleman, Cory Haim, and the list is just endless. Parents, wake up and realize that Hollywood is no place for kids--at least ones you love.

I knew Corey for over 20 years and worked with Corey on many films , yes he had a prescription problem , meaning he didnt have to purchase crack or coke from street dealers , So called doctors simply wrote presecriptions over and over making him an addict , something that troubled him and fought against his whole life, he was a guy filled with positive energy and loved to share his love by kissing, talking and huguing , whats wrong with that ? out of the ordinary ? He always liked to show up on set on days off or before his call .. whats wrong with that ? more actors should do so That said Mrs Mendoza , enjoy your 5 minutes of fame in this article and shut up
