Cory Monteith is taking a breather — and he's doing it with Lea Michele by his side. After completing a month-long stint in rehab for substance abuse, Monteith and his girlfriend headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, over the weekend.
"Sailing off on another adventure," Michele tweeted before leaving Vancouver May 4. "Putting down the electronics for the next few days. Gonna rest up mind body and soul! See you soon!"
When Monteith checked out of rehab Apr. 26, he thanked his fans via Twitter for their "continued support." When the actor first sought treatment, Michele released a statement pledging her devotion. "I'm grateful and proud he made this decision," she said.
On May 1, the couple of more than a year attended a Canucks hockey game in Vancouver, Monteith's hometown. "They were very happy and would look at each other lovingly," an onlooker told Us Weekly of Monteith, 30, and Michele, 26. "They seemed very comfortable together and Cory looked great."
Glee's fourth season finale airs Thursday, May 9, at 9 p.m. EST. The FOX musical comedy was recently picked up for two more seasons through 2015.
