When you think about Dakota Fanning, what comes to mind? The cute little girl telling Sean Penn "I wouldn't want any daddy but you" in I Am Sam? Or the slightly less little girl screaming in the back of Tom Cruise's car in War of the Worlds? Well, it's time to adjust your thinking because Dakota Fanning is all grown up. And she's found the "sexy knitwear" tab on Etsy.
Fanning stepped out at the Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards Monday night. Her accessory was holes in her dress.
Dakota, 20, is known for a more understated fashion sense, while it's her younger sister Elle who's more of a risk-taker. Dakota even talked about the differences in the way they dress with Glamour.
"She’s very uninhibited and will try pretty much anything," Dakota said of Elle. "Even the way she dresses — she dresses totally for herself. She risks being made fun of… by me, which I sometimes do, because I’m an older sister! But I totally admire her and think she’s very cool."
This being the Accessories Council Awards, Fanning paired the dress with a fringed clutch and thick, strappy heels. Her other accessory was Flo Rida.
