Did David Bowie’s Son Duncan Dis Lady Gaga’s Grammys 2016 Tribute?

How does one define … a diss? David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, criticized Lady Gaga‘s colorful, high-tech tribute to his late father during the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15.

Moments after Gaga performed the medley of Bowie’s biggest hits, Jones — whose mom is Bowie’s ex-wife Angie — blasted out a questionable tweet that quickly went viral. The director, 44, tweeted out the Oxford English Dictionary’s definition of “gaga.”

Though it remains unclear what Jones intended with that post, Gaga was lauded by countless others for her sweeping tribute to the late icon. Taylor Swift looked ecstatic from her seat as she marveled over the presentation, and the rest of the audience exploded into applause when it ended.
