David Hasselhoff: Justin Bieber Was Right to Punch Fan

The Hoff approves! David Hasselhoff thinks that Justin Bieber had every right to punch a fan who ran alongside the singer’s car in Barcelona on Tuesday, November 22.

The Baywatch alum, 64, spoke about the incident during an appearance on Good Morning Britain with host Piers Morgan on Wednesday.

“I agree with you, Piers, he should have punched that guy out. Fans are whacked out, man,” Hasselhoff said. “Come on, what’s that guy want, an autograph he can sell? He’s going to get his face punched out. You need to treat us with respect, and you will get respect back.”

Hasselhoff can relate to having overzealous admirers. “I’ve had fans chase [me],” he added. “I’ve had fans jump in my car and pretty much terrify me.”

As previously reported, Bieber, 22, hit a male fan who was trying to touch him through an open window. Bieber was sitting in the backseat while his chauffeur was driving him at the time.

“He just punched me … I touched his face like this and he went, boom!” the unidentified man said in a video, which was obtained by TMZ. The altercation left him with a bloody lip.
