Famed designer Michael Kors and Lance LePere received their marriage license in New York City on Wednesday, Us Weekly confirms.

"Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together," the Project Runway judge, 51, tells Us. The bill legalizing same-sex marriage in New York passed in the senate in June.

So should friends and family start combing their closets for the perfect outfit? "We have no plans for a major party," Kors says. "But we will be getting married privately."
