Great news from MTV's Diem Brown! After battling ovarian cancer for a second time, the Challenge star, 30, is once again in remission.

"I could not be more excited," Brown tells Us Weekly. "I can't stop smiling from ear to ear. I feel so free, like I have my life as my own again."

"I am still shaking," she adds of receiving the good news. "I can't describe the feeling of doctors telling you your cancer is gone — especially when you were told this day more than likely would never come. I love it when those doctors are wrong."

Brown was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 22. After beating it once, she learned in June 2012 that the cancer had returned.

"I got a call from the same doctor I had six years ago and he said those same words," Brown — who founded MedGift, a charity that works like a wedding registry, allowing donors to help patients pay for treatments — told Us after her second diagnosis . "They're just as devastating: 'Sorry to tell you, but you have cancer.' It's like a whole rush rushes over you and you're so numb. I'd been there, done that — I thought I was over it."

The star was determined to beat it again, though — and she has! As she told Us last year: "I'm stubborn, I'm Southern, and I'm coming after this thing full force."
