Sopranos star Drea De Matteo was one of the many who lost an apartment in the NYC East Village explosion on Thursday, Mar. 26. The actress posted photos of her building up in flames from across the street at the time of the scary scene.

"NYC's finest trying to put out the flames to mine n many others apartments. Speechless…," the 43-year-old captioned one Instagram photo. "[Pray] for those that are hurt."

The large fire caused two buildings to collapse, leaving 19 injured (four of them critically) and one person missing. According to NBC, Good Samaritans scrambled to help people escape, and firefighters took just three minutes to arrive. The powerful blaze was reportedly caused by plumbing and gas work in the building.

Like so many others, De Matteo, a Queens native, appeared to be in disbelief. "A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood…" she captioned a second photo. "RIP 123 2nd Avenue."
