Elisabeth Hasselbeck Slams Hiring of Brad Womack as the Next Bachelor

Ardent Bachelor fan Elisabeth Hasselbeck isn't thrilled with Us Weekly's news that Brad Womack will likely be the next Bachelor.
"Ugh!" she told UsMagazine.com Wednesday at Reebok NFL's Maternity Tee Belly Bowl launch at A Pea in the Pod in NYC. "Translation: They couldn't find somebody!"
In 2007, on the 11th season of the hit ABC show, the 27-year-old Womack left the final two women, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, heartbroken by not choosing either of them. Fans were stunned as well.

Hasselbeck, 33, doesn't understand why he would be given a second shot on the show.
"He didn't have enough choices before? How many women do you need, Brad?" she asked. "They should really reevaluate that one."

34cnada...he does not want to do it...why can we not have females and maes who are enthnic...and Chris Jillian is available...she needs a man...she is sik of tired of boys...and some of the bachelors and bachelorettes could have some meat in them
Candace does not want to do it...he wants to lead a quiet life...and wants to pick a woman the old fashioned way...i still think he would do well with Jillian ...she needs a man not a boy...and i want to see ethnic bachelors and enthnic bachelorettes...and some meatier...be realistic...not everybody is a size 2
ITA with Elizabeth, she is a big fan of the show and she can give her honest opinion like everyone else.Brad is good looking but boring to watch but what I can say, ABC want him & I'm not watching his journey will wait for "The Bachelorette"
ABC doesn't care if he finds love, they only care about ratings. And HTCB (Hotter Than Crap Brad) had one of the highest rated seasons. Plus, everyone will watch to see if he picks someone this time. Just be glad it isn't Jake!! However, no need to hate on Hasselbeck. She's just stating her opinion.
Oh man, why didn't they get Chris from last season to come back? Talk about a hunk. Everyone wants to see him be happy finding love! Bring back Chris!

Let's see. I don't have the availability to watch the View every day, but, maybe if Elizabeth was the only one commenting on Brad, I can understand that. Let's see. Wasn't Elizabeth a product of a show with Boston Rob called "Survivor"? and isn't she the one with the famous football player brother? let's see, didn't Boston Rob and maybe even Elizabeth get to do the "Amazing Race"?? So, now one bachelor wants to do a redo/makeover/try again, and she wants someone different? Brad may be a millionaire bar owner who just doesn't have enough time to find women (?) It's called take a vacation, Brad. So, maybe this is his vacation for this year. and maybe he's hoping he can be like Melissa, who turned rejection, into another positive with her own marriage, and being on Bachelor Pad (I thought that was an interesting idea, to have her give out the roses to the couples/and others.
