Elizabeth Hurley Slams Bill Clinton Affair Rumor: It’s “Ludicrously Silly,” “Totally Untrue”

Elizabeth Hurley has called rumors of an affair between her and former President Bill Clinton "ludicrously silly" and "totally untrue"

Elizabeth Hurley did not have sexual relations with Bill Clinton. After a new report surfaced claiming that the British actress had engaged in a yearlong affair with the former President of the United States, Hurley, 48, took to Twitter to defend herself against the allegations, which she slammed as "silly" and "untrue."

"Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton," the Estee Lauder model tweeted to her 448,000 followers on Wednesday, Feb. 5. "Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn."

The report, from Radar Online, cites an alleged recording of actor Tom Sizemore telling two unidentified people that President Clinton convinced him to arrange a tryst with the Gossip Girl alum, whom he reportedly dated himself. (According to Sizemore's 2013 memoir, he and Hurley had a three-year relationship in the early 1990s, when she was famously involved with Hugh Grant; she has never confirmed the alleged Sizemore romance.)

Radar further claims that Sizemore can be heard on the tape saying that Clinton flew Hurley from L.A. to the White House on the very night the tryst was arranged in 1998, and that the two carried on a sexual affair for about a year. (Incidentally, 1998 was the year of the President's sex scandal with Monica Lewinsky, which led to his impeachment.) Sizemore also reportedly alleges that the former Commander-in-Chief told the model he had a platonic, non-sexual relationship with his wife, Hillary Clinton.

Hurley dated fellow Brit Hugh Grant for 13 years until May 2000. (She even stood by him after he was caught cheating on her with a prostitute, Divine Brown, in 1995.) She has also been linked to Steve Bing (with whom she has an 11-year-old son, Damian) and was married to Arun Nayar (from 2007 to 2011). More recently, she was engaged to Australian former cricket player Shane Warne; they split late last year.
