The actors, who have been dating since June 2011, were spotted taking surfing lessons from legendary surfer Rory Russell. The 60-year-old has become an iconic member of the Hawaiian surfing culture and took Stone, 25, and Garfield, 30, out on Jan. 3, 2014 to catch some waves.

For the lesson, the British actor wore a navy tank top and blue striped board shorts, and his American girlfriend wore a long-sleeved top and shorts over her bikini.

Photographers captured both of the sweethearts wiping out, but Garfield seemed to be getting the hang of it as he continued to practice.

A source recently spoke with Us Weekly about the couple's future. “They want to marry and have a family. They’re discussing it. Their schedules have been crazy, but they’re madly in love.”

In the highly-anticipated sequel the couple will continue to portray onscreen lovers Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. Shailene Woodley was originally cast as the new Mary Jane Watson, but her scenes were later cut when the director decided he wanted to spend more time on the romance between Gwen and Peter.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
