Fergie, Josh Duhamel Dine Next to Hotel Where Stripper Claims Fling

Amid allegations that he had a fling with a stripper, Josh Duhamel and Fergie appeared as a united front during a dinner date in Atlanta Tuesday night.
Fergie, 34, and Duhamel, 37 – who's in town filming Life As We Know It – dined at Chops restaurant, which is located next door to the St. Regis Hotel, where exotic dancer Nicole Forrester claims she had a one-night stand with Duhamel Oct. 9.

At dinner, Fergie and Duhamel didn't seem the least bit troubled.
Sitting close together in a rounded booth in the center of the restaurant, they shared a bottle of Chardonnay and dined on steak and lobster upon arriving around 10 p.m.
As they left (Duhamel paid for their meal), they even greeted some fans and took photos in the restaurant, a source tells Usmagazine.com. "She swung by the kitchen because it's an open kitchen and said, 'Great dinner,'" the source tells Us. "She was complimenting the chef. She was very friendly and genuine. They seemed really happy together."

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now) that Fergie "says nothing is wrong" with their marriage, despite the infidelity claims.
Says another, "Josh told her it didn't happen, and she believes him."

Yet a lawyer for Forrester, the stripper, says the dancer has passed a lie-detector test and is in possession of racy texts from the Transformers star that corroborate the affair.
Attorney Romin Alavi also tells Us that Forrester -- a 34-year-old mother of two -- didn't seek out the the National Enquirer (which offered her $20,000 for the story) in hopes of a payday.

"Josh bragged about what happened on the set of his movie [Life As We Know It], and someone called the Enquirer with the tip,” Alavi tells Us. "The Enquirer then came to Nicole."

THey always put on a united front, kind of like when Nick and Jessica took off to Italy when divorce rumors started. This is the typical path of action for a celebrity couple in trouble. Next he will be apologizing publicly.
I'm not surprised. Josh thought he could keep her quiet because he was famous? Pretty dumb on his part. Why get married in the first place if all you're going to do is cheat. It's probably true, but I doubt Fergie will dump him since they've been married such a short time. The stripper will get what she wants - 15 minutes of fame.

Some people find the need to get married for a pretty dress. My marriage is not perfect under any circumstances, but I do however, take my vows to my husband to heart and do forsake all others. Marriage is sacred and people don't see it that way anymore.
Maybe the Chris Martin/Kate Bosworth rumor was false, but I think this one is definitely true. Especially if the stripper has all the evidence that the lawyer says she has. The truth will come out eventually.

I believe the story is true. Fergie is an idiot for marrying him anyway. He dumped his first fiance the day before the wedding and she was with him before he became famous. This marriage won't last until the end of the year!
If it's on the cover of People, it's true. They don't post rumors. Majority of marriage has a crisis at least once.
How can he refute texts? She would have access to a screen name that is particular to him and Fergie would know it when she see's it. These women get too complacent and arrogant in thinking their man wouldnt ever cheat because of who they are. It literally has to hit them in the face or them walk in on it to believe it.
