So. Many. Questions. FKA twigs is pregnant in her newly released music video for hit “Glass & Patron” — yes, Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend has a full-on baby bump in the video. But the British crooner isn’t, in actuality, going to be a mom anytime soon. In the artsy video, the 27-year-old gives birth to a rainbow-colored scarf, which she pulls out of her body herself.
The self-directed music video begins in a forest and shows twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, cradling her fake baby bump before giving birth and then transitions into a somewhat more predictable music video, showing off the talented performer’s dance moves.
The unconventional singer, who recently exchanged promise rings with the Twilight hunk — Us Weekly exclusively revealed their relationship last September — is all about shocking her fans.
"I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it, but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It's like a hangover. It's weird,” she told USA Today this past November. “I know that's not really because of me or what I'm doing, [but] the positivity that I get from [my relationship] makes the more challenging aspects...very worth it,” she added in reference to the downsides of dating a celebrity.
Shortly after going public with R. Patz, the edgy singer suffered racist abuse online. "I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week," the half-Jamaican, half-Spanish singer wrote this past September. "Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online.”
