Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt both seem to believe that 2012 is the year for commitment. Divorced for almost seven years, the exes are each set to tie the knot with their respective partners.

July 29 would have marked their 12th wedding anniversary had they not divorced in 2005. And ahead of each of their nuptials — Pitt, 48, proposed to longtime partner Angelina Jolie, 36, in April; Justin Theroux, 41, popped the question to Aniston, 43, on August 10 — Us Weekly is looking back at one of the most famous Hollywood weddings of all time.

During the July 29, 2000 ceremony, Aniston looked princess-like in a glass-beaded, low-backed gown by Lawrence Steele while Pitt looked dapped in a polished tuxedo. To prep, they both got matching blonde highlights.

The guest list for the $1 million spectacular for 200 included the couple's celebrity friends Courteney Cox, Cameron Diaz and Ed Norton. As for fare, L.A.-based caterers Along Came Mary had plenty of caviar on hand for the reception, but had to rush out for more lobster.

The venue was filled with 50,000 flowers. Aniston opted for a bouquet of Dutch Vendela roses, while Pitt requested lotus flowers floating in a specially built slate foundation for a Zen feel. The memorable evening was topped off with a 13-minute fireworks show of hearts and smiley faces set to Radiohead music. The finale: a 12-year-old Sinatra-style singer!

No word on how extravagant or low key the Brangelina and Jen/Justin weddings will be. Earlier this summer, Pitt admitted that he and Jolie, who share six children, aren't racing to the altar.

"We actually, really and truly, have no date," Pitt said at a press conference for Killing Them Softly during the Cannes Film Festival in May.
