George Clooney's Gals Stacy Keibler, Elisabetta Canalis Avoid Each Other at Bash

Well, that must have been a teensy bit awkward.

Both Stacy Keibler and Elisabetta Canalis -- George Clooney's current love and his most recent ex, respectively -- were among the stars on hand at Hollywood's Grauman Chinese Theater Monday night to support the launch of The Beauty Book for Brain Cancer.

Former WWE wrestler Keibler, 32, turned up sans Clooney, 50, at the charitable bash wearing tight leather pants and a top with a plunging neckline. 33-year-old Canalis -- a Dancing with the Stars alum, just like Keibler -- came to the fete with a date: True Blood hunk Mehcad Brooks, her own rebound after her July split from Clooney following two years together.

Inside the dinner, Clooney's women dined at separate tables and "were always on opposite sides of the room," one insider observed. "They were basically avoiding each other the whole night."

Friends for years, Keibler and Clooney became romantically involved in late summer, within weeks of his announced split from Canalis. Canalis and Mehcad began dating in October.

In subsequent interviews about their split, Italian model and TV presenter Canalis said she harbored no ill will toward ex Clooney. "He was a very special person for me - like a father," she told Italian broadcaster Bruno Vespa in his new book This Love.

Keibler, meanwhile, has alluded to her blissful new romance via gushy tweets -- but her man doesn't mind.

"She can do whatever she wants," Clooney told Rolling Stone. "I rarely tell anybody what they should be doing with their life."
